This next set of Monster Hunter Wilds Event Quests is kinda low-key, maybe so you have more time to play Doom: The Dark Ages

The march towards the next major Monster Hunter Wilds update continues, but since it still has a nebulous ‘summer’ release target, all we can really do is log in every week to play the latest set of Event and Challenge Quests in the action RPG.

You can think of Event Quests as Monster Hunter’s version of Weeklies, which you should be familiar with if you played any live service games in the past decade.

The current batch of Event and Challenge Quests is pretty extensive, but it ends today, April 13. You still have a bit of time to finish all of them before the next set goes live tomorrow, April 14. The new set is split across two weeks, and will go on until April 27.

This is a notably much less busier batch, however. This is pretty good if you wanted to spend the next couple of weeks with a new release, such as the upcoming Doom: The Dark Ages. I imagine there’s going to be a big overlap between fans of the two games, eh.

The same Free Challenge Quest from the previous batch remains, too, so there’s more time for you to tackle that. As always, all quests for any given week go live at once, and you can play them in any order.

May 14-20

• Ballet in the Rain – 5 Stars (HR 21 or higher) – Hunt the Tempered Lala Barina to obtain Glowing Orb – Swords Decorations.

• Sand-Scarred Soul – 5 Stars (HR 9 or higher) – Hunt the Doshaguma to obtain Glowing Orb – Armors Decorations.

• [Free Challenge Quest] The Shining Storm Rages – 8 Stars (HR 50 or higher) – Slay the Arch-tempered Rey Dau in a race against the clock to earn an exclusive pendant.

May 21-27

• Running Wild – 5 Stars (HR 21 or higher) – Hunt the Guardian Fulgur Anjanath to obtain Sealed Dragon Cloth α headgear!

• Romping Around – 4 Stars (HR9 or higher) – Hunt the Rompopolo to obtain Mud Shrimp that you can use in BBQ grilling.

• Peak Nerscylla – 4 Stars (HR9 or higher) – Hunt the Nerscylla to obtain Fluffy Eggs for use in BBQ grilling.
