Wahey, Fallout TV show season 2 has officially wrapped up filming, so now we wait for the release date bomb to drop

Good news, folks who’ve been desperately awaiting some official word on where season two of Amazon Prime Video’s Fallout TV Show is at. It’s now wrapped up filming – cue a bunch of posts from its biggest stars celebrating that fact, and the rest of us kicking off release date reveal watch.

This season had been at the filming stage for a good while now, and seemed to have one of the leakier sets you’ll see. Sneaky fans have shared snaps and videos showing off the likes of Novac and the New Vegas Strip itself, with the last few leaks even having fueled speculation about elements of the plot.

This latest update is straight from the irradiated horse’s mouth, with the show’s official account having tweeted “Achievement unlocked! Fallout Season 2 has wrapped production.”

It accompanied the message with a video of Walton Goggins ripping off his ghoul make-up and then lobbing a chunk of his not-flesh at the camera. Bit cheeky from the Goggler, but we move.

Goggins isn’t the only one who’s glad to have moved one step closer to the fresh season beaming onto Radiation Kings across the world, with both Lucy actress Ella Purnell and Maximus actor Aaron Moten having done their own wrap posts on Instagram.

As you can see below, Purnell went for a selfie with Kyle MacLachlan, who of course plays her pops Hank MacLean in the show, while a wig chills in the background. Moten, meanwhile, played very well into the Brotherhood of Steel stan stereotype by posting a shot of him in his full power armour chilling with a crew member.

So, now the wait begins for a release date reveal, letting us all know when this next season’ll drop. Season one debuted in April 2024, so we’ll have to see if we end up waiting until spring next year, or if Prime Video potentially pulls the trigger later this year.
